Carbohydrates 

Carbohydrates are really important in an athlete’s diet. Contrary to popular belief, carbohydrates should not be fully eliminated because the food that contains these are the ones that supply people with the energy that they need. 

As much as it is important to be included in one’s diet, it should always be kept in mind that there should only be an adequate amount of carbohydrates to be consumed. For best results, cut off your consumption of processed foods and try to go for the better sources of carbohydrates. With that, you may want to receive your carbs from vegetables, fruits, white rice, and the like.

Protein 

As a soccer player, maintaining one’s muscle mass is highly important. By including it in your meal plan, your muscles and bones are kept in their best condition.
